Plot Summary: The MC runs into Genbu in the hallway and is extremely ticked off when he not only doesn’t recognize her but also seems to have no intention of doing so. She intends to make him take notice of her by recovering his heavenly robe, and then by following up and make him take her as his work partner

What I think of him: Genbu is an easy going guy, much too easy going in fact. He tends to take things as they come and doesn’t bother with things that are of no interest to him, to the point that he doesn’t bother to remember people’s names unless they distinguish themselves to him. Even though he is a calm guy, he is very powerful and when he is greatly upset, he can rampage out of control

Nickname: None

Charm point: He’s not going to let anyone touch the MC

Quote: “No matter what you have decided, I will not let you go… I lov eyou too much to let you go!”

Cuddle, kiss, or push down: Hang out by the lake

Would have eloped with: No one

Favorite moments:

  • The MC freaking out when she walks in on Genbe bathing while everyone else is so nonchallant about it
  • When Suzaku tries to shake the MC’s hand and Genbu shakes it instead because he doesn’t want Suzaku to touch the MC
  • The MC forcing the guys to stop fighting and to have a snowball fight instead

Worst moments:

  • I have no idea what was going on with Genbu. Why did his opinion of the MC change so suddenly?

Worth the price of admission?: This route feels like someone took a route and then picked one of two scenes per chapter and then deleted the rest. A lot of information is just missing. And the most important thing to be missing? How Genbu came to care for the MC. In the beginning, Genbu was completely indifferent to the MC, and then the next time she meet him he care about her, and then shortly after that he’s bordering on yandere and threatening anyone who so much as touches her. I don’t really think this route is worth playing because it doesn’t really fulfill it’s most basic purpose of telling a comprehensive story
