Musashi Miyamoto

Musashi

Plot Summary: The MC is traveling to Iga with Hanzo when they are attacked by ninja traitors. Hanzo is forced off a cliff, and just when it seems that the MC will be taken to Nobunaga, Musashi turns on the nnja who hired him and rescues her. He then proceeds to bewilder the MC by further setting himself again Nobunaga by offers to help her find Hanzo.

What I think of him: Musashi is an honest and pure guy, who is also a bit of a beast. He tends to do whatever he wants and frequently uses the excuse that it’s okay since he was raised in the mountains. He has dedicated his whole life to his sword and seeks to battle against strong fighters. When he holds his sword he becomes like a different person, aggressive, cold, and intimate with death.

Charm point: He “takes” food if it is lying around when he’s hungry (and doesn’t consider it to be stealing)

Cuddle, kiss, or push down: Cuddle, just to say that they’re not alone anymore

Would have eloped with:

  • Munenori, because he and the MC have such sassy conversations and also because she has such a huge effect on him
  • Hanzo, because he wants to protect and shield the MC

Favorite moments:

  • When a spider falls in the MC’s kimono
  • The MC’s speech to the Negoroshu
  • Musashi’s thievery (and how the MC gets to be so okay with it)
  • The piggyback ride
  • The conversations between the MC and Munenori
  • The MC and Musashi sleeping together after the inital attack
  • “I want to protect you as a man”
  • Musashi’s confession and proposal
  • (Musashi has gorgeous hair, just putting it out there)

Worst moments:

  • There are many typos, most notably the text frequently slipping into the 3rd person for the MC

Worth the price of admission?: Yes, this is probably one of the best routes of the game
